Rodriguez is going to be doing this next year and from the sound of it, Allred is absolutely thrilled. He was sort of a dream choice for Mike for a long time, but it didn't seem feasible in the film's early stages. Recently, though, the rights reverted back to Allred, who held onto them for RR at his request.
I also wondered what a KS version of "Madman" might be like. In some ways, "Dogma" may provide some idea ( cosmic action plus philosophical musing ). And hey, you get Mike himself in the flick. Can't wait to see how Frank and his pals make the jump to the big screen, though.

Trapped On A Board He Never Made
: Hey Kevin, posted earlier but the new board came up, I heard the Robert Rodriguez may be directing a Madman movie? I'd much rather see you do it (not that Robert is bad)...Mike's (Allred) character is too cool and the comic is wacked out...read it baked. Dude if your gonna do a comic-book flick do this one!!
