I don't know what to say, man. I would never have run off half-cocked that way. It was completely irresponsible. I'm not entirely defending Warren Ellis, but I can hardly find a manner in which to not sympathize with him.
For the record, next time someone tells you a celebrity is dead, find a documented news report on before reporting it as fact to the rest of the world. If you can't find one, just post the question: "Did anyone hear about Garth Ennis dying? My friend said he did, but I can't find any documentation. Does anyone have the facts?"
Do you see the responsibility difference between these two acts?
