Well shoot! I picked up J&SB4 tonight and took a look at the ad. It's been a dogs age since I edited my crappy student films on a 16mm Steenbeck...but I do remember how big the film was. And you're right, the film is way too big to be 16mm. Very good eye on this, and it makes for a hell of an in joke. You even spelled 'nefarious' correctly. I'm damn impressed.
