: Kevin: I read somewhere that one of your favorite movies is "A Man For All Seasons" (Somewhat hoping you were kidding) I watched it recently for a class I am taking and read "Utopia". I don't particulary care for Thomas More's writing that much nor the movie but loved "Praise of Folly" by Erasmus. He was one of Thomas More's good friends and it is said the two books were them talking to each other. (some horse shit like that) Anyways, I would definitely go with Erasmus. That is if you were serious about liking "A Man For All Seasons" just a recomendation on my part. ::
Thomas More kicked ass. He was his own man. When told to convert,he told them,in no uncertain words for sure,to fuck themselves. When all those prissy Anglos converted(and you wonder why the ANglican Church is folding like a card table.) Thomas More stood his ground. When it came time to playball,Thomas backed his beliefs, and I have muy respect for a guy who stuck to his philospohical guns in the face of a blade. They realized a groovy biography of Tommy M recently. A Man for All season was an incredible movie.
