Okay, I don't know what show it was, but around 9:30 Thursday night, on some hospital drama, they finally aired the phrase "shit happens" -- on a public television network! Scripted and all. I also saw some special on Entertainment Tonight or something just before it, discussing this rebellious little effort.
I know this has nothing to do with View Askew, but it is a small sign. Maybe, someday, public primetime television will make its way up the vulgarometer, to the point where poor bastards like me who live halfway to nowhere will be able to pick up Clerks on the old bunny ears. Props to whoever found the balls to take this wonderful leap for mankind.
