: and the next bad thing is you can't by mallrats in german, but I've been so lucky to find a german copy of mallrats at my videostore but if I'd by it I'd have to pay 120,- DM for this something like $50. That is really expensive but to let you know I'm a collector and if it takes my whole income(!) I would pay it but hopefully their will be someday a distributor found.
DVDs and videos usually find their way around the world a few months after being released in their home country. So you should look for Clerks and Mallrats in Europe sometime next year.
: do you know how to reach somebody who knows when or if Dogma is released in Germany??
If you know of any German video sites like Reel.com or DVDExpress.com, you should check that for release dates. Or, you could go to a retailer that carries DVDs and ask them if they know, because they usually have some sort of binder that has release dates listed for the next few months.
: thanx
: by the way do you use a stand-alone dvd player or a pc-drive?
Stand-alone DVD player hooked up to my TV. I'll most likely get a DVD PC drive with my next computer, which I'll probably get in a year or two. I would just much rather watch DVDs on my 25" TV with surround sound speakers, then on my 17" computer screen with mono sound.
