Has anyone else read Amazing Spider-Man #12 this week? Byrne and Mackie have used Mysterio again. Now, Kevin, you said as far as you were concerned, Mysterio is dead, he died in Daredevil #7. BUT, Mackie and Byrne used him in a Spider-Man story set after the event happend, due to the fact the book was running late, the duo claimed they just had to guess what you were going to do with him.
NOW...Mysterio has retuned from the dead again. At least in this issue they acknowledge the fact that Mysterio shot himself in the head. But THIS Mysterio just keeps avoiding telling us what happened. To top it all off, there is a 5-page story at the end that has Mysterio asking the reader a bunch of "what if's?" reguarding his identity.
I don't know what you think about this Kevin. But this just pisses me off. You wrote a damn good storyline, and Byrne and Mackie got arrogant and wrote something that contradicted what happened. Now they're trying to cover their asses with a lame plot device.
I hate John Byrne more and more everyday now.
