Who remembers the first time they saw a film by Kevin Smith?
I remember being forced by my sister(LOL) to see Chasing Amy on video in 96. I laughed, cried and loved the film. Ever since I've regretted renting Clerks and Mallrats in the same day (and not savoring it), then finding out that that was the lot he'd made! Thank god rumors flew around that Kevin Smith, the 25 year old(at the time) director was working on a new film, for some reason his fourth, not second film (that Clerks had said Jay and Silent Bob would be back in)DOGMA.
I reckon (along with countless others) that the energy,time and money put into the films of the NJ trilogy is more than I've seen put in dozens of films this decade. Good on ya Kevin! :)
