Think about it, both Clerks and Mallrats are set on the same day! The evidence for this, in Clerks, Randel asks "Who comes to the store at 4 on
a Saturday" and in Mallrats, Brodie asks what to do with their Saturday,
except to visit the Mall to ease their mutual pain. Trivial you may think,
except for the Julie Dwyer(?) connection. In Mallrats, we learn that it is
T.J's fault that she died the previous night and in Clerks we learn that the night before she died doing laps at the YMCA pool. Now watching Clerks and Mallrats, it is apparent that Jay and Bob spend the majority of thier time in both, at either the Q Stop, or the Mall respectifully. So I ask the question how can Jay and Bob, both be in the same place at the same time. If anyone can answer please let me know.
