I say take him up on it...BUT only if he agrees to let you pay the way most respectable hotels allow you to pay for SpectraVision.
One flat fee with a very vague description on the bill. Something like "$8.99 for Interactive In-room Muscle Tension Simulator." If he's gonna send you a bill that describes charges like "$2.99 for when cold MagLite flashlight tore the lining of my blood-encrusted sphynicter"...
...well, I'd reconsider...probably.
