This is Kevin's Board, not a fan board. You got on his case. He spanked you, publicly. There is no "objective person" standard here - Kevin can do what he wants.
Now, as it turns out, you didn't mean to insult Kevin and were embarrassed by the flame war that followed your post. You haven't been banned from the Board, and I doubt Hawkboy has either, although we probably won't see him for a while.
Kevin has also shown his distate for people following up incessantly. Don't do it. You said something that pissed Kevin off; he reamed you; it's over. Any more and you risk waking the monster again. Kevin is a writer by trade and this message board is a written medium. As Sam Kinison would say, "you do NOT want my full attention!"
So let it go. People like your sense of humor, at least I do. (Who the hell else would get the Monster Island / Peninsula reference?) Just live by Kevin's rules, both express (as above) and implied (ie, don't get on his case personally). When you continue to follow up like you've been wronged, you're just gonna annoy the guy. And we all come here because we like his work.
