: : Because I'm a greedy little girl, I was wondering if the Dogma tickets are tax deductible -as they are for charity and all.

: : Thanks!

: I don't know how it works out for the individual ticket purchaser. I know that we intend to donate the proceeds to charity in one lump sum amount -- so I don't see how, legally, you could double count the charity donation. In my "stoopid-girl" logic, that would be like VA/Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash donating (then writing off) roughly $10,000 -- and then all individual ticket purchasers claiming their multiple's of $30 -- , so it would seem like the Diabetes Association received $20,000 -- instead of the true amount of $10,000 -- raised from the event. It doesn't seem right.

: does that make sense?

: I guess my answer wasn't very helpful. Knew I should've went to law school.
