I've seen the original version of this scene and believe me, the final version is MUCH better. I do agree that Bob's absense from the hospital room could be a bit puzzling, as well as the people vacating the hospital in such a panic (which makes sens if the shit demon is in there), but these are minor quibbles compared to how the editing of the sequence runs now and how it ran with that VERY drawn out "battle" between Bob and the No-Man, and how said battle interupted the action happening outside the Church with Bartleby and the others for so long.
