The name is a reference to the seminal 80's sitcom "Parker Lewis Can't Lose". Kind of the TV version of "Ferris Bueller" mixed with a touch of 1960's Batman camp. I miss the times they used too "synchronize Swatches".

circa is just a way of saying around or from that time. Circa 1959 means, from the 50s.
DRE has made a big comeback and now is known as WLIR. Kicks ass with a mix of 80s and 90s.
