Well, I started from home and Yahoo! Maps said it was a 2878 mile drive from my house to the Stash.

Of course, it really was a 11.6 mile drive to the airport and a 36.6 mile trip from the Newark airport to the Stash. Adding up to 48.2 miles trip, making me BY FAR not the longest amount of driving.

Then, I could use the DURATION of travel, in which case I left my house at 5am PST and got to my hotel at 8:30 EST. That makes for a 12 1/2 hour trip.

Not counting my pitiful go at getting home, which took forever...

Anyway, I'm not claiming to win.
