: Hi Johny,

: Well, maybe I'm just in a bad mood since I've spent the last day moving an apartment full of stuff & am beat as hell. Since the Board is a written medium, sarcastic humor doesn't sometimes doesn't come off well.

I can take sarcasm, but in the last message you admitted you were being mean.

: : How do you figure I'm making the point just for show?

: Because Director's Cut means something different from what you used. It's so commonly used to mean the Director's intended cut that I had a hard time conceiving you were actually serious. Look on Amazon for Director's Cut, you'll see a good 20+ films that differ markedly from the commercial release.

Just because everyone else is stupid we should except it? Everyone on the news seems the think that 2000 is the start of the new millenium too.

: : Well, Kevin cut all of DOGMA and at this point in time the release version is obviously the cut he prefers, for whatever reason, because that's the one that is going out.

: No, as I recall it was originally about 2 hours forty minutes. I believe that's what they showed at Cannes. That's what I'd call the Director's Cut.

Actually the Cannes cut ran something like 2:08, shorter than both of the Philadelphia test screenings.

: : Sorry, but you're just wrong.

: No, I'm right. But I'm sorry if you got pissed off at what I said. If you really believed what you said, then you were just misinformed.

I think not.

Johny
