I didn't read the script either, and I did get a little bit of the aforementioned choppyness. Don't get me wrong, I still really enjoyed the movie. But I can tell where some stuff was probably cut. That may simply have more to do with the fact that I'm more of a movie buff than the average audience member is. (As are most of the 480 odd folks who saw it on Monday.)
Or maybe I just absorbed the script by osmosis just because I hang around here so much! Heh.
