This must be a brilliant scene.

: I originally saw Dogma in January of this year in one of the Philadelphia test screenings when the film was around 2:15-2:20 in length. In that version during the bar scene Silent Bob and Jay befriended the gang members by doing a great cover of the Fat Albert theme song. This was what I thought to be the funniest scene in the movie, and I know that all the others from my generation who grew up watching Fat Albert would agree. I know this was not vital to the plot but it was funny and it did explain how the gang and them became friends (whereas in last nights version they just were). In my opinion, the extra 2 or 3 minutes would have been well worth the laughs. Also this past april when I went to the Stash Re-opening, I specifically asked Kevin if he cut out that scene. At that time he said he did not cut that out and I told him I was glad because my friends and I who watched it laughed hysterically at it. Needless to say, I was dissapointed by this loss, and while I still enjoyed the movie, knowing what was originally there was cut was dissapointing. I know cuts have to be made, but WHY THE FAT ALBERT SCENE DAMMIT!!! WHY!!!

The cinematic and comedic equal of teen pie-fucking, apparently
