OK. Your original post said, in its entirety:

"The release version IS a "director's cut" *nt*"

I originally said you were being pedantic. I also said, below, that I was tired from moving and thought I'd gotten on you too hard. I let you have the last word and hoped you'd let it die. Now you're asking for more. So here goes.

Your post shows you are being even more pedantic. There is no way you could have known, in advance, that Kevin would say we should consider the Theatrical release the Director's Cut. He said that in response to our discussion. Your point was, it's _A_ Director's cut since Kevin cut it. Technically true but not what is commonly referred to as a Director's Cut. Did you _really_ misunderstand cnaughton37's post? I doubt it. We all knew what he meant. As I've said before, you're being too clever by half.

Do you have anything useful and view askew related to add to this discussion? I grow tired of correcting you and wasting Kevin's Board space. Although I still disagree with Neil, at least he made a good argument.

Johnboy

: : No, Kevin didn't say that. He said that the version he completed should be considered the Director's Cut. So he doesn't believe that any of the cut scenes were taken out without his express approval. Hence the release = the Director's Cut. Ain't always true, is true here.

: Thank You.
