And while we're on the subject, I can't figure out how this film cleared $140 mil when I haven't been able to find a single person in the past three months who liked a damn thing about it. Seriously. I could round up more devotees of Godzilla and Wild Wild West than I could for Blair Witch. Non film-type folk seem to absolutely loathe this film (you should see the reactions I've gotten this week from people after I've told them I bought the video). If so many hate Blair Witch, then how did it avoid a huge drop-off at the B.O.? I just plain don't get it.
Also, how did "that is SO not cool!" avoid becoming the catchphrase of the summer?
