Better question is where did they get the onion? Are we to assume that it was in the truck they hitched a ride from or is there something more to the onion story? Maybe after Dogma has been released a few years and Kevin is looking for some ideas we will get the Dogma: the lost onion scene comic. Or perhaps there is nothing to tell, it was just an onion rolling around in a truck.
