Man. Did I have a wacky journey. We busted two tires on the way up and had to rent a car. Needless to say, I made it to the screening.
Myself and my father were the last two in theatre one, so we had to fish around for seats. You remember us, the two who had the last row untaped because my dad had back surgery. Yeah. Sorry to the trio who tried to sit up there.
I had built up a ton of hype in my mind for this flick over the last 18 months, and this did NOT dissapoint me. It was great. Definately worth the 500 mile commute we made.
Standout performances (to me, anyway) include Damon, Affleck (halfway through), Lee, Mewes, and Kevin. Rickman as well, along with good ol' Chris Rock.
Hands down, the best scene (again, to me) was the parking garage scene. I loved the last bit of dialogue between the two.
I'm gonna see this movie as many times as I can before it leaves theatres.
Any remember what Lee said when he turned up the air conditioning? If you can, tell me. I forgot.
- the asshole in the last row who laughed alone when Lee said "Mrs. Reynolds?"
