Thank you to Johnboy, KittE and everyone else who tried to make a ticket available to me or the premiere last night. Unfortunately, a drive that should have taken no more than two hours ended up taking three. God I hate the LA freeways. I didn't arrive until 7:30 by which time everyone had already gone in. I can't even begin to describe what a disappointment that was. After all the build up for this movie, I was actually going to see a big "Hollywood" premiere for the thing and this had to happen. I kept trying to take alternate routes trying to make up lost time sitting in traffic but each time I was promptly greeted by an even worse traffic jam.
Sometimes life just seems to get shittier and shittier. Oh well. Well, if anyone can help me with info on the alternate screening tomorrow night, I would surely appreciate it. It isn't that I won't see Dogma on Friday, and probably a number of times after that, but I would sure like just one opportunity to see it with some fellow VA devotees. Any help anyone can provide would be great.
Thanks again to all who did try to help tonight. I am sorry I didn't make it in time.
