I don't feel that my review is negative. I think DOGMA is Kevin Smith's second best film and I enjoyed it a lot! I simply felt that he has room to grow visually still - as he has stated himself - and that stood out more in this setting, so it was worth noting.

I was also somewhat disappointed that the film was not, I don't think, the movie that will sell him to the masses. Not because it's bad, just because the masses have different requirements than us fans, that I don't think it quite met.

I admit my review wasn't glowing, but it was quite positive.
