hmm, maybe. they didn't recognize bethany though... i guess you could say it isn't the same. rufus being walking dead and all.
but, if they were chilling like flint since exodus time, they probably kept up on events. while the black apostle might have been forgotten after a few generations, cuz people forgot to tell their kids or something, the angels just had to hear about him (or see him) once to remember him forever, right?

well, it's odd to think of being banished to a place that wouldn't have been delineated for thousands of years. I think it was more for a joke at that moment.
