Dammit! 45 days to go and still no good info! Yes it opens on the 26th, yes Kev's coming to town at the end of November, and yes, filmfour are distributing.
But there's nothing else to go on! This is a BIG movie, I'm sure we're all agreed on that, so what gives? No info on a premiere or on screenings (or anything else) and with just over 1 month to go! Is the thing just gonna open on Boxing Day and that's it, no fanfare, no nothing? Kevin's coming over "to do press" and then leaves? Clerks and Mallrats may have been straight-to-video, but at least there was a screening for Chasing Amy (which sold out). Am I to believe that there won't be anything for Dogma?
What the fuck's going on? Is it the release date that means no one wants to be away for Christmas? Then move the date, please, we can take it! We got our own Christmas considerations too, plans will need to be made.
Or is it in Filmfour's hands - are they arranging everything? If so MAKE them tell us - you're allowed to carry guns over there, use em!
We're dying, literally DYING for news. The UK site, although pretty, has nothing about release information at all, Filmfour has nothing Dogma related on its site, and try as I might, I can't get anything solid out of VA here. There are a LOAD of fans over here, maybe not as many as the US, but if you're gonna bother with a UK site and (some) UK information, we would really REALLY like a bit more.
Who can we bug for news if you don't know? And if you don't know, why not? Please, throw us a frickin bone here, people. The clock is ticking....
