Hi Chris,
Yeah, I remember about your long drive. The scoop is, if you show up tonight and get a ticket, and don't get into the screening, there will be another screening Wednesday for you. So even if you show up and get a ticket, you're not guaranteed a seat. I'm on the Will Call list but haven't a clue as to my chance of getting in. But Lions Gate wouldn't call us if there were no chance at all.
However, rather than worry about the percentage chance of getting in, think of it this way: If you don't show, the chance of getting in is zero. If you do show, your chances of getting something good go up dramatically. And I'd much rather see this movie for the first time with a bunch of fans than in a general theater.
Also: If you show, there's a 100% chance of meeting some cool Boarders waiting in the line. I know Jaded's going & some other people worth meeting also. And there's a good chance at least one of them will have an extra ticket due to unforeseen factors like their date has to work, got sick, etc.
Luck favors the prepared. Show up and see what happens.
Also: I'm guessing I only get one ticket, but if I have two, you can have the other one.

: Yeah, I sure do remember you. Maybe you can help me weigh this situation. I live in Laguna Beach, about an hour and a half away(maybe two depending on traffic). Do you really think there is a reasonable chance that someone will have an extra ticket if I just show up?? I am more than willing to make the trip, but I would kinda like to know there is at least a reasonable possibility. What do you think??
: Are you going?? If so, and if I go, It would be cool to catch up with you again. Anyhow, thanks for any thought on this you might have. I hope I see you tonight.
