Kevin,
Hello, I am a 23 year old writer from Pittsburgh. I want to first say that I love the creativity and unusualness of your comedies. They are easy to relate to, and also just kick it with ur friends for a beer and a laugh. The other thing is that I just saw Politically incorrect with Bill Maher, and I am wondering why people attack movies, why do people blame actions of their own will on things that are totally not related. Movies, don't cause violence....People do, and so do dictators..I just look at it as political figures putting the blame on something that is really their fault..They are the ones to blame, but they are NEVER at fault..Never, but the next best thing is..I actually think that there is a creative team working for politicians, they go out and see what is popular, they write down some notes on controversial topics, and then when something bad happends they have a reason that it did. Not that they failed to inforce a law, or they wanted a salary increase instead of a youth center or more police support. Everything in America is referred to as privilages and responsibility, but when a violent matter appears and the government is involved, then they shift the spotlight or responsibility to a party that has no relevent involvemen. If a guy drives drunk, he goes to jail. If the government screws up, they put blame on others. I believe you are one of, if not the only true movie writer of modern day. You don't write movies that are based on effects, or a movie that uses a lot of money, but uses a lot of creativity. You are a true writer and I am glad that I had a chance to view your movies, and have you, "Silent Bob" as one of my role models. Myself being a writer based on creativity and own original thoughts, I owe all of my inspiration to write, to you.
Thank you,
