: BRILLIANT question! I hope Kevin answers this or provides whether he was intended to a point on this one. Maybe the fact that she worked at an abortion clinic and that pro-choice view was stated(somewhere in the movie) means that the message was that she did have the right to abortion? Or maybe nothing was ever thought of this because Bethany did say that she couldn't conceive and that was her biggest disappointment in life (she cursed God because of that)? Any thoughts people?
