Thoughit would take me much too long to actually point out all the flaws in your post, I will try and sum up as best I can of how far off base you are. DOGMA does not imply racism in any way. It does not suggest that Jay & Silent Bob are false-imposturing to be like the black rappers of today. They are simply characters created by Kevin a long, long time ago. He did not in any way adjust them for this movie to appeal to the masses. Jay has always been and always will be Jay. And Silent Bob is perhaps the most universal character on screen.

The bar scene that you talk about sems more to me a scene where Kevin could show his racial harmony. The "gangsta" look given to the black men in there was nothing more than character build-up. That scene had a lot more to it that was unfortunately cut from the movie. I think that if it had been included in the movie, you would see why black gangs made the gags all the more funny.

You're call on interacial relations between Rufus and Bethany is also way off base. I did not feel at any time that there was a sense of sexual relations between them. And even if there had been, what exactly is wrong with interracial relationships. Rufus played a character that was mentor and helper to Bethany. He was supported by another female, Serendipity, thus making your claim that the movie degregaded women also false.

The point you brought up of Angels not having genetlia (sp?) means nothing more than exactly that. Angels have no genetals, male or female. When Serendipity raised her skirt for Bethany to see that she too had nothing down there, it showed that it was not only the male angels that go without all body parts. Female angels are that way as well. Infact, it was also commented that angels have no sex, they onyl choose to look more like a man or woman.

I believe that upon watching this movie, you intentionaly looked for things to rip apart. And in doing so, you subsequently made up much of what you believed existed in a very deep, insightful film.

And as far as your claims that this movie was Satanic...well, thats just idiotic.
