to who has heart enough to read this letter, or is just damned cool enough,
Kevin Smith's movies have all effected my life. When I was a dorky 11 year old, my immature eyes fell upon Clerks. I loved it, I didn't get most the jokes, but thought sucking 37 dicks was genious (don't get me wrong, I still do). Against my mothers will, it became my favorite movie. I was still a good kid, and didn't use "filthy language". Then Mallrats and Chasing Amy had a simalar effect on me. But that's average, everyone I know loved the New Jersey Trio.
Anyways, last year I had no doubt the worse year in my life. I was battling being an outcast at a very jock orientated high-school. That is fucking terrible for a gen y'er who acts like an x'er, in many many ways. ALso, my grandfather was diagnosed with a throat cancer. After a long, grueling battle with my father (my mom was in NM tending to her father) I got to go back to my old school, in which friends flourished like tourist in Time Square. The following day my grandpa died! I was so fucking sad. The point is, what kept me away from hard-core drug use and/or suicide, were Kevins movies. SO, if kevin, or anyone else responsible for the 4 movies in which have been released in his name read this (PLEASE GOD!), thanks for everything! I mean everything
Any one have comments, or, whatever my e-mails Nirvana402@aol.com
peace, love, empathy
Nathan
