I thought Alanis turned in an amazingly hyper-innocent performance as God. I loved her handstand, with the boxer shorts; smelling the flowers. I also enjoyed Bud Cort's cameo as John Doe- humming "Ode to Joy", then getting the snot beat out of him- what a great role for an actor.
