I agree that I went over the line there, however there has to be some point at which we can note people are asking very common questions, the answer to which are on the board in multiple places... and that common sense might dictate was a subject that others will have already brought up.

Indeed. However, the first rule on any Internet forum is to read it for a period of time before posting, so that you can avoid asking FAQs and can learn the tenor of the conversation.

I acknowlege and respect that, however I don't think a little awareness is too much to ask.
Next time I will ask more politely, though.
