: Neil brings up a good point, which means that the characters may need some sort of external stimuli to widen the appeal of the next movie. My idea, and again, this is unsolicited, and I'm a computer technician, not a freaking screenwriter, is to bring Smith as himself into the movie.

: Perhaps the film could take place shortly after the video release of Dogma, and Randal bitches about people protesting his store for no good reason. Make gratuitious references to "that big-shot troublemaker director who used to stock shelves at that very same Quickstop."

: The premise is that because this Big-shot director used to work at Quick Stop (or RST, whatever), Randall and Dante are being constantly scruplized and harassed by "customers" wanting to meet Smith, or just be in the store to be a part of Filmmaking history.
