When reading the hate letters of the week on the Dogma site (now on the View Askew site), I thought it was really ironic how several people implied that Walt Disney would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what kind of "hateful" movies the Disney corporation was making. What these people probably don't know is that Walt Disney was not the nicest guy in the world and was definitely prejudiced against certain groups, namely homosexuals--I know he fired at least one actor when he found out he was gay. I don't know of any specific examples of his hatred towards other groups, but I'm pretty sure it existed; I mean, "Song of the South" never came out on video. I'm only 19, but I remember seeing that movie in the theatres when I was 7 or 8, so it wasn't until relatively recently that Disney realized the err of its ways and pulled that movie quick.
