: Only some of the Apocrypha are in the Catholic Bible, but those are
: apocrypha as defined by protestants.
Touche, touche. But I think the books that are generally recognized
as *the* Aprocypha (as ooposed to being simply apocryphal), like
Susannah and the Dragon, the Maccabees, the 151st Psalm, Ecclesiasticus,
that sort of thing; I think those are indeed in the Catholic Bible.
At least, they're in the Catholic Bible that *I* bought.
: Some that aren't in any Bible are the Old Testament Book of Enoch.
The books of Enoch are in the pseudopigrypha, if you want to get
really technical about it.
: This is the book that most information about the ranks of angels and
: the war in heaven comes from.
Yes, I've read it. Great fun.
: And, there are references to Jesus in the scrolls.
No, there aren't. Name one. I'm serious. Every time I've heard
someone say this, they are referring to some vague rumor they heard,
but I have yet to see any single citation that I can verify. Of
course, wackos like Thiering would have you believe that the things
are in code, and that "the wicked priest" is Jesus, but I don't give
that theory any credence (for reasons that are way too convoluted and
boring to go into here.).
