He said in a later interview that he wants to make 10 movies and retire, but he only has 3 more ideas, so it could be after that. He hasn't addressed why he wants to leave so limited (quantitatively) a legacy or to leave the business.
If someone has seen this addressed in more depth, I'd be as interested as anyone in hearing it.
