I remember reading in Spike, Mike, Slackers and Dykes, you and John Pierson were discussing the movie Slacker. John said that Slacker introduced a new word (slacker, of course) into the language. You, however, pointed out that the word was used in Back To The Future II, which predates Slacker. I wondered why you mention BTTF II, and not the first one, since it's used in that one, too, but that's off the subject.

So I was watching It's a Wonderful Life today, a little early, I know, but there's nothing else to do, and in the scene in the bank with Potter and Uncle Billy, Potter calls George a slacker. And that was way back in 1946.

Well, I thought it was interesting, anyway.
