: Loki and Bartleby getting into heaven -in any form- will end the world. Yes, they could be forgiven as humans, but going through the door would forgive them too- and we all know what happens when they go through the door. I think I answered what you were asking, but I'm not really sure......Hope it helped.
Since God is all powerful, he or she can make it so that Bartleby and Loki can get into heaven without the end of the world coming around. Frankly the end of the movie is vague in wether they get into heaven or not. Personally I thought the look on God's face and the look on Bartleby's face showed forgivness, but since that is not stated and it is not stated that they go to hell, the ending is left open to interpretation. I think that is was left open to interpretation so one can view God in the way that they want to she him or her. If they want to see a God that forgives they can see that, but if the want to see a vengeful God then they can see that. I don't think that there is any clear answer to this question and until Kevin states what he was trying for at the end, I am tired of people trying to make it a clear answer. I tried once, but realized that it is not clear.
