Isn't that the best, when you luck out and manage to have the place to yourself? One of the reasons I really gave up on going to the movies for so long was because I couldn't take the audiences any more. Either they thought they were home in front of the VCR, or they were busy tooting out an Anvil Chorus of coughing, honking and bleating. But now, thanks to these 22-screen jobbies, I can pretty much enjoy myself any time at all. Had the place to myself for "Bringing Out The Dead" recently and would have sworn I was going to for David Lynch's "The Straight Story", but much to my surprise the theater was populated with a somewhat older demographic that seemed to like talking about the movies on AMC a lot. Funny, I don't remember seeing any of them at "Fire Walk With Me...

: I saw DOGMA (finally) on Sat. I had the entire theatre to myself. It was cool, one of those "stadium" seating theatres. I must say this is one of the most intelligent movies I have EVER seen. (OK I saw the Matrix, but come on, Keanu Reeves?). I've been going to Catholic school all my life, once getting reprimanded in my theology class in highschool when I was asked to draw what I thought Jesus looked like. I will never forget the expression on my teachers face when she saw my drawing of Jesus, my nubian brother.
: Anyway, this one was bigger. I could tell because I couldn't see the crew in any reflections (see Chasing Amy). Special Effects? SPECIAL EFFECTS?
: The movie was great. Thank you.
