" Hmm, no. I’d heard some post-Sundance press about Clerks, and, when it came to my town, I went to the film. I had no fucking clue who Smith was at the time. SOME of us, however, did actually see the film in the theatre, at it initial release, rather than on vhs after seeing Mallrats or Chasing Amy."
Yes, SOME of us did. There was you. there was me. I'm sure there's a few others. Now if you're trying to inult me by implying I wasn't a Kevin Smith fan fro the very beginning, just come out and say it. Hell, I said in another post I didn't know who Kevin Smith was until a few years ago. I saw Clerks in the theater. Maybe a year later I rented Mallrats at the video store. I'd seen previews for Chasing Amy, but I didn't even know it had anything to do with the other two, and it didn't seem interesting to me. For Christ's sakes, I was 14. Then some guy talks about Kevin Smith in my T.V. class and I think, hmm, Clerks and Mallrats WERE pretty good, think I'll watch them again.
So, I didn't have a chance to add up my score. Are you better than me? m I worthy to converse with you?
