Not quite sure why, but I really enjoyed reading this post. Hope you get as much out of the second and third (and fourth and fifth...) viewings as I did.

: Hey Kevin....first of all, a late congrats to you, Kevin, and Jen on the birth of your daughter. I am late in my good wishes because I, too, was in the process of creating life! I had my son a few days later, on June 29. I haven't been my usual lurker self in awhile due to my new responsibilities as a first-time mom, living in a new town. But I used up one of my "get-out-of-the-house" cards with my husband so that I could go see Dogma Thursday night. Being that I am new to this area (Elkhart, Indiana), I haven't yet found a movie buddy. SO I ventured into the dark theatre alone with my Twizzlers to watch this movie I had been anticipating for so long! And was I glad I went. Great movie. Interesting mix of a great story with that certain Kevin Smith touch of comedy unlike anyone else! I really enjoyed it. I will need to see it again, of course, since my post-pregnancy, living with a newborn-hazed brain isn't quite as quick as it once was!
: Since I saw the movie on a Thursday night, the theatre wasn't too full. But it seemed as if everyone was enjoying it. I am sure it will do well, and I only wish the protesters would drop their signs and watch the movie before they judge.
