Hi,
I live in Wichita, KS, and I just saw "Dogma" for the second time today. I saw it opening day and now today. Opening day, it was actually pretty packed. Not a sale out, but damn near close. The movie was funny as hell. A lot of people didn't get some jokes(the "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" reference for instance. Overall, it seemd that everyone at least liked it. Oddly enough, some of the loudest laughs came from these 3 old ladies sitting in front of me and my brother. As for today, not as big as a draw. The theater we saw it in had it in their premiere theater though. They had James Bond there, but put "Dogma" in their best theater. It thought that was interesting. There weren't as many laughs, but that was probably because of the fewer people. There was this old couple two rows in front of us and I don't think they liked it much. The only time they laughed was when Rufus tells Jay something that no one else would know, at Jay's request. Overall, aweseome movie. Can't wait for the DVD with all the extra scenes. I'm only posting this because I heard that Kevin wanted us to post info. about the draw at the theaters. Just thought I'd share. I'm sure that noe one probably cares, but oh well.
