I know a lot of people have been praising Dogma on this board, and I just had to add to it. I saw it for the fifth time on yesterday and it gets better each time. All the actors were great, and I especially loved all the background jokes like the cigarette brand was called Nails and Mooby's friend Enoch the insecure Ardvaark, and just about everything on Glick's bulletin board.
I had to pass through picketers to see the movie, and seeing those protesters being down on the movie made me want to say "Thanks Kevin for making this movie. It's one of the best I've seen." I had never seen anything from View Askew before, but liked Dogma so much I stopped and bought Chasing Amy on the way home.
PS I know it's an anal question, but when Bartleby gets the letter: to whom was it addressed to? I caught the occupant part, but not the rest of it.
