First, the bigger movies:

Sleepy Hollow- It was cool. Dark and intriguing. All those things that make Burton movies Burton. Surprisingly, the theatre wasn't that full.

Synopsis:
Brotha #1: It's DOPE! Brotha's 2-4: Eh. It's cool.

Bond- 4 cats who grew up watching Bond on ABC. You do the math.

Dogma- Ok, being the Smith fan that I am (which is odd for me. Jockin' a white dude from Jersey......eh!) I'd seen this movie, read the script, blah, blah, blah. Now I was with my crew to watch this movie at 1am. I was kind of shook, because I didn't know how well they would recieve it. Especially with all the hoopla surrounding this thing.

Out of a 24 theatre multiplex, Dogma was on one screen (blaspheme in it's own right). I knew everything was gonna be alright when "Buddy Christ" made his apperance and all of my friends lost they're mind. It was like watching a mini crowd reaction of Def Comedy Jam. They were making mock impressions of Sinatra and giving outbursts of "JACK!". I think we freaked out a few people out. From what I can tell, the stereotypical Smith fan might not be privy to such blackness......but what the hell do I know, right?

Needless to say, all the main Christians I roll with really dug your movie and hope you and it prosper well. God Bless.

P.S. *Crowd- at 1am, the theatre was almost half full. Don't sweat the big movies kid. We saw both and let me tell you, more was discussed about Dogma than any of the other movies we saw (of course, we're biased). This is a slow burn type of movie...but you knew that already.

Peace.
