Hey Kev (and anyone else who is reading this),
Just got back from seeing Dogma for my 3rd time (still picking up more stuff each time). Saw it at the theater in Freehold, NJ. Just so all know, the film is still going strong. The 9:50pm showing was over 3/4 filled (pretty good for a film that will get yanked next week...what a dumb-ass).
Anyway, my question is this. When Janeane Garofalo's character pulls up in her car, the sticker on her rear window looked a lot like a Monmouth University sticker. Having seen all your previous films countless times and finding M.U. references in all past films, I wanted to confirm if I was indeed correct in seeing an M.U. decal on her car. In case you can't tell, I am an alumni of the "prestigious" school, and I'm always happy to see it referenced in your work.
As far as the film, it is truly inspirational, and has caused countless discussion and debate amongst my friends and I (a mixed bag of christians, jews and agnostics. Kudos, for making an intelligent and funny movie about religion. And for those who would criticize the film for being blasphamous, I say you obviously have not seen the film. Monty Python's Life of Brian went much further (and was also hillarious).
Anyway, I really just wanted to ask my question, but I also found that I had to state how much this movie has caused discussion, and really, isn't that what a good movie is suppossed to do? I look forward to any future project you do Kev.
Peace
