If you believe in fairy tale endings happening in more realistic tales, then you hold onto hope that Alyssa and Holden might get back together.

If you believe that there's somethings in your life that are so scarring that you have to put them in the past forever to grow up, no matter how good they were, then you really hope that they never get back together, erasing all the growth they both made.

Obviously, I'm down with the second theory, personally... but Kev's left it up to the person to interpret for themselves, maybe because your own interpretation is what helps you figure out how you feel about love.

Some think God forgives all who repent sincerely, some think there's somethings that are so heinous that even God can't forgive them.

Attempting to willingly and hatefully end all that is should be a wholly damnable offense, if there is such a thing as an ironclad guarantee for damnation.

Lets put it this way... if the Triplets are in hell for killing one baby, it'd be pretty damn shitty if Bartleby DIDN'T burn for TRYING TO KILL EVERYTHING.

There's compassion and forgiveness... and then there's TRYING TO DESTROY EVERYTHING OUT OF SPITE. Hell, even Satan just wanted to take OVER everything. Bartleby's worse than the Morningstar, in my humble.

But it all depends on your take on God and sin, much as Amy's a way of engaging your interpretation of love and happy endings.

all a dream about Tennesse
