Hi, my name is Dan Duffy, and I'm currently a student at VFS (Bryan Wert says hello). I've seen all the flicks, and was really looking forward to Dogma. I went to see it, and I must tell you: it is not at all what I expected. Being Catholic, but an open-minded Catholic, I didn't go into this flick with any blasphemous pre-conceived notions. What I got was a kick in the ass. Any Catholic that takes offense to this movie is one that doesn't want to realize the truth of what so many of us have become: lazy, uncaring, two-mass Catholics (two-mass being Christmas and Easter). Hey, we're proud to be Catholic. We don't read the Bible, don't follow most of the rules (pre-marital sex, birth control), and we have the Pope. What could be cooler than that? When I saw this movie, it moved me to actually go to church the Sunday after I saw it. I don't even know if you quite realize the powerful message you've put forth on the big screen. Kevin, Scott, you've really outdone yourselves. The dialogue is powerful, meaningful, and thought provoking. I know this message board is for questions, but I don't have any for you. I just say well done, congratulations on your success, and you have a lot of supporters at the school that you guys once called home (well, Scott for a little longer than Kevin, anyway). Take care you guys.
