Hey everyone!
I was driving in my friends car home from a great football game in K-Mart when a weird thought popped into my head. Another of my favorite directors after Kevin Smith, is Mel Brooks. Mel Brooks is Jewish and in every one of his movies he finds some way to poke fun at Judaism. Grant it he hasn't made a movie solely on religion, History of the World Part I would probably be the closest, but none-the-less he chides about Jewish practices and values. Now the nig question is, where are all the Jewish League protestors to tell us to not see his movie because he is bashing Judaism? I am myself am Catholic and have seen the move 2 times and when I came out of the movie I had a stronger sense of faith than all the sundays at church and 9 years at catholic school made me feel in my life. Now maybe its me, or maybe I'm just not a good Catholic, but do Jewish people know how to take a joke better than Catholics? Help me out with this one guys. Later tators.
