They put a fatwah on a guy on Terrence McNally,the guy who wrote the play where Jesus is gay and bangs the disciples.(Someone said Kevin was asking for shit with Dogma,THIS fucking guy was asking for all that and a bag of chips)
: They were protesting for the America Needs Fatima campaign, a special campign sponsored by The Foundation for a Christian Civilization. Thier brochures looked almost identical to the Catholic League ones...including their protest postcards to Disney, Miramax and the Weinsteins, and of course thier donation request card (which you can also use to order more protest brochures, but please send a donation as they exhausted thier funds printing all these brochures...). They gave me a rosary to send to Kevin to save his soul. I asked if they had seen the film, they had not but did read a script (the old one of course).
: On their side, they were quite courteous (but like Kevin's group no doughnuts or coffee). They also said they did not promote violent protests.
: We also asked if they liked the Halloween Hell Houses a couple churches had (where they depicted abortions, demons with dead gay people, and the Columbine massacre) and they said they thought they were good and spread a good message. We of course disagreed.
: It made for an interesting Sunday.
